In game one, Hardin-Simmons held only a 2-0 lead after four innings, but exploded for three runs in the fifth, two runs in the sixth and nine runs in the seventh. Hailie Gilbert, Erika Henderson and Bethany Mason each recorded RBI in the bottom of the seventh for Ozarks (7-9, 5-9 ASC). Abigail Mork (1-1) took the loss.

In game two, Ozarks built a 1-0 advantage after Krysten Shavers doubled in pinch runner Brooke Hoffsommer in the fifth. The lead wouldn't last though as Hardin-Simmons' Kara LeLeux blasted a three-run homer to put the Cowgirls in front for good. In the bottom of the seventh, Kaley Coppock drilled a deep shot to center field, but Cowgirl center fielder Sarah Truelove made a diving catch to rob Coppock of a sure double. Ozarks totaled ten hits in the contest, with Gilbert finishing 3-for-3 at the plate. Gilbert also started in the circle and took the loss in a complete game.

Ozarks will host Nebraska Wesleyan March 25 in a double-header starting at 12:00 p.m.
