In game two, Ozarks (7-11) plated two runs in the second inning to take a 2-1 advantage. Bethany Mason ripped a single to centerfield to score Shawnee Sorensen. Later in the frame, Ryan Gibson had an RBI groundout to put the second run on the board. That would be all Ozarks would generate offensively. Nebraska Wesleyan eventually tied the contest, 2-2, in the fifth. Ozarks would mount a rally in the bottom of the seventh, but it fell short as Nebraska Wesleyan got a bases loaded strikeout and then forced a lineout to send the game into the eighth inning. In the top of the eighth, the Prairie Wolves had a runner on third base with just one out. Mindy Frances then executed a perfect bunt to score the game-winning run. Ozarks starting pitcher Hannah Oler (0-4) limited Nebraska Wesleyan to just five hits and walked only two. Krysten Shavers paced Ozarks at the plate with a 2-for-4 effort.
