Ozarks (12-16) looked to put the game away in the top of the seventh, but Hendrix (10-16) scored a run with one out to even the contest 6-6. It didn't take long for Ozarks to end the game as Oler led off the bottom of the seventh with a deep shot over the center field fence. It was Oler's third homer of the season.

Hendrix opened the game with a 3-0 lead, but the Lady Eagles responded with five runs in the third. Ozarks recorded five hits in the frame, and Krysten Shavers, Bethany Mason and Hailie Tolich had RBI. Hendrix would tie the game 5-5 in the top of the fifth, but Ozarks again rallied with a run in the bottom half of the inning to take a 6-5 advantage. It would be Kaley Coppock this time who drilled an RBI double to push across Oler.

Brooke Hoffsommer, Oler, Coppock and Mason all had two hits. Oler finished with three runs. Hailie Gilbert (9-8) received the win after pitching the final one and two-third innings. Oler started and went five and one-third innings.

In game one, Ozarks edged Hendrix 2-1 on another late inning rally. This time the game-winning RBI came from Beth Massey in the fifth. With Ryan Gibson on third base, Massey ripped a single to right field to push across the game-winner. Hendrix led 1-0 after three and one-half innings, but Ozarks answered with a run in the bottom of the fourth. Madison Cluck would receive an RBI on a bunt to score Massey to even the game 1-1.

Gilbert closed the deal in the top of the seventh with a groundout and two straight strikeouts. Gilbert threw a complete game and fanned three.

Ozarks will host nationally-ranked East Texas Baptist University April 10-11 in a three-game series.
