Conway, Ark.-The softball team competed in a Strike Out Breast Cancer Tournament hosted by Hendrix College in Conway Saturday.
    
Ozarks played Central Baptist College, UA-Pine Bluff and Williams Baptist College during the event. Under first-year head coach Roland Rodriguez, Ozarks returns 12 letterwinners and nine newcomers for the season.  

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  At the event teams wore pink and 100% of donations and tournament shirts sold were given to the Susan G. Komen Passionately Pink Program. The Susan G. Komen Passionately Pink Program helps fund yearly community programs that include providing over 415,000 mammograms and clinical exams for the medically-underserved.
