Richardson, Texas-Ozarks opened the game with a run, but Texas Dallas answered with four runs in the bottom of the first en route to a 14-6 win Saturday in American Southwest Conference play.

Texas Dallas (19-18, 15-12 ASC) followed the first inning with four more runs in the second to lead 8-1. Ozarks (8-23, 8-19 ASC) had a run in the third and four in the fourth. Three of the four runs came on Krysten Shavers' home run. It was her fifth of the season. Ozarks trimmed the deficit to 9-6, but Texas Dallas had its biggest inning of the game with five runs in the fifth.  

Ozarks out hit Texas Dallas 9-6. Haleigh Moore, Laken Gray and Hannah Oler each had two hits.

Abby Mork (5-13) took the loss as the starter.

Ozarks will host Central Baptist College April 19 in a double-header.
