Belton, Texas-The University of the Ozarks softball team dropped game three of its American Southwest Conference series 4-2 against Mary Hardin-Baylor Saturday.
The Crusaders (17-11, 12-9 ASC) plated a run in the first and second inning. Ozarks (6-19, 4-17 ASC) responded in a big way in the third inning. With one out, Haley Hardy was pegged with a pitch. Laken Gray then belted a home run to even the score 2-2. Mary Hardin-Baylor took the lead for good in the fourth and Ozarks wouldn't record another hit.
The Eagles totaled two hits in the game. Courtnie Walker (1-3) took the loss.
Ozarks will host Hendrix College March 29.
