GAME THREE

Overview: The Eagles thrilled the crowd with a dramatic 2-1 win over LeTourneau University in game three on a Taylor Teague RBI single to left field Saturday. With Riki Haase standing at second, Teague drilled a shot through the hole on the left side of the infield to push Haase across the plate and help the Eagles win the series. LeTourneau broke a scoreless game in the fifth with a run. Paige Lee, who was robbed of a double in the fourth inning on a spectacular catch from left fielder Emilee Anderson, did double in the sixth to bring home Elisa Cantu. And in the bottom of the seventh, Haase drew a one-out walk. Hailey Ostrander then recorded a sacrifice bunt to advance Haase. From there, Teague ripped a single to score Haase for the game-winner. Candace Rogers was outstanding as she kept LeTourneau to four hits in her complete game. Teague finished the game with three hits.
