GAME ONE
Overview:
Marshall, Texas-Nationally ranked East Texas Baptist University took game one 10-2 in five innings against the Eagles Friday night. The Tigers struck first scoring three runs in the bottom of the first. The Tigers' offense then added five runs in the third to hold a 9-0 lead. The Eagles didn't record a hit until the fourth inning. The Eagles scored two runs off of three hits. Sierra Jasna ripped a single down the left field line and Mack Lucio followed with an RBI double. Blaise English later recorded a sacrifice RBI to pull the Eagles within 9-2.

GAME TWO
Overview:
East Texas Baptist took a run-rule 8-0 win in game two to cap the Friday double-header. The Tigers scored twice in the first inning and once in the second inning to hold a 3-0 lead. The Tigers pounded out 14 hits in the game against the Eagles. The Tigers scored four runs in the fifth to put the game out of reach. Sierra Jasna and Macy Pelts recorded hits for the Eagles.
