GAME ONE
Overview:
Abilene, Texas-The Eagles opened the game with two runs only to have Hardin-Simmons University come back for a 8-3 win in game one Friday. The Eagles followed its two-run first inning with a one-run third inning. In the first Kaylyn Soria had a two-run single, and in the second, Sierra Jasna had an RBI single to give the Eagles a 3-0 lead. However, the Eagles wouldn't score again and the Cowgirls rallied for eight runs. The Cowgirls took the lead in the fourth and then padded the lead with four runs in the fifth. Jasna finished 2-for-3 with an RBI.

GAME TWO
Overview:
Hardin-Simmons eventually pulled away from the Eagles in game two to pick up a 4-1 win. Hardin-Simmons scored runs in the first, second, fifth and sixth innings. The Eagles made it 2-1 in the third on a Jasna RBI single. The Eagles' offense would record just one more hit the rest of the game.
