Clarksville, Ark.- University of the Ozarks designated player/pitcher Allyson Fultz was named the American Southwest Conference Hitter of the Week, it was announced Monday (April 4).

Fultz, a native of Rogers, Ark., hit .667 (6-for-9) with a home run, three RBI and three runs scored in a sweep over Howard Payne University. She homered in game three to help her own cause in the circle. Fultz also had a hand in each of the three wins with her performance in the circle. She went 2-0 with a save.

On the season, Fultz is batting a team-best .343 and owns a .543 slugging percentage.
     
The Eagles will host Hendrix College Wednesday and Texas-Dallas this weekend.
