Jasna ‘22 Named Assistant Softball Coach

Sierra Jasna is the new assistant softball coach.

Clarksville, Ark.-Former U of O softball standout Sierra Jasna has been hired as the new assistant softball coach, head coach Denise Godwin announced this week.
    
Jasna, a native of Sallisaw, Okla., was a four-year starter for the Eagles earning All-Conference honors in 2021.
     
"We are very excited to have Sierra join the coaching staff," said Godwin. "As a former Eagle softball player, I know she will do whatever it takes to help this program succeed. Her softball knowledge and work ethic as a player will help her easily transition into a coaching role." 

An All-Conference catcher, Jasna recorded 70 career hits. She exceeded in the classroom, too, making the American Southwest Conference Academic All-Conference Team three times. She was a member of the National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-American Scholar-Athlete Team and President's List multiple times during her career.

She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a bachelor's degree in biology.
