Clarksville, Ark.-The Texas-Dallas women opened the second half with a 11-4 run to secure a 72-56 win over the U of O women's basketball team in American Southwest Conference play Monday.
Ozarks (4-11, 3-9 ASC) trailed 31-24 at intermission, but Texas-Dallas (12-2, 9-2 ASC) quickly established momentum early in the second half. The Lady Comets built a 43-26 lead after five minutes of play and then extended their lead to 55-34 at the 13:10 mark. Texas-Dallas later had a 30-point advantage around the eight minute mark.
In the first half, Ozarks held a 8-6 lead early and then had a 11-10 advantage with 12:03 to play before Texas-Dallas led 21-16 at the 5:27 mark.
Taylor Farmer had 13 points for Ozarks. RaShelle Goldman followed with 11 points.
Ozarks will begin a four-game road trip beginning January 23 against Texas-Dallas.
