Lady Eagles Cruise To Easy Win Over Centenary College

Clarksville, Ark.-The Lady Eagles opened the University of Dallas Tip-Off Classic Friday with an easy 85-52 win over Centenary College in Irving, Texas.

Ozarks (2-0) wasted little time in establishing momentum as it reeled off a 18-0 run to open the game. The Lady Eagles went on to hold a 37-25 halftime advantage behind five three-pointers and 25 rebounds. Jordana Andrews would hit three from long-range in the first half. Ozarks deep bench was too much for the Ladies as it rolled out to a 50-33 lead five minutes into the second half. Taylor Farmer scored 16 second half points to push Ozarks to a 81-43 advantage around the five-minute mark.

Ozarks pulled down 51 rebounds in the game, and got points from nine of its 11 players that saw action.

Farmer ended the game with 24 points on 9-of-13 shooting from the field. Andrews followed with 19 points behind a 5-of-6 performance from the three-point line. Bryanna Moltz and Farmer each had 11 rebounds. Centenary falls to 0-3 on the season.

Ozarks will play University of Dallas Saturday in Irving.
