No. 13 Texas-Tyler Women Drop Lady Eagles In ASC Opener
Tyler, Texas-The No. 13 ranked Texas-Tyler women's basketball team used a 10-2 run to finish out the first half and hold a double-digit halftime lead en route to a 96-59 win over the Lady Eagles in American Southwest Conference play Saturday.

Ozarks (2-2, 0-1 ASC) hung with the Lady Patriots (4-0, 1-0 ASC) in the first half until the eight-minute mark. The Lady Eagles trailed 28-19 before Texas-Tyler hit back-to-back three-pointers to jumpstart a run that resulted in a near 20-point intermission lead. Texas-Tyler had 26 rebounds and held Ozarks to six field goals in the first half. In the second half, Ozarks hit an impressive 14-of-25 field goal shots and 9-of-11 from the free throw line, but dug itself into too big of a hole to make a comeback.

Bryanna Moltz scored a team-high 15 points. Taylor Farmer and Ashley Hipps had 12 points each. Hipps pulled down a 10 rebounds.

Ozarks will host Crowley's Ridge December 1 and Texas-Dallas December 4.
