No. 9 Texas-Tyler Posts ASC Win Over Lady Eagles

Clarksville, Ark.-The U of O women's basketball team couldn't recover from 19 first half turnovers and lost 88-62 against nationally-ranked Texas-Tyler Saturday in American Southwest Conference play.
    
No. 9 Texas-Tyler (6-1, 3-1 ASC) jumped out to a 9-0 lead early in the game and then really never let the Lady Eagles (5-4, 2-3 ASC) back into the contest. Ozarks cut it to 11 points in the second half, but didn't get any closer. Texas-Tyler used ten three-pointers and a 54-40 rebound advantage in the contest to keep the Lady Eagles from a comeback. Texas-Tyler led 45-28 at the half.

Madison Sherrer had 14 points to lead Ozarks. Ashley Hipps scored 13 points, while Bryanna Moltz and Jordana Andrews scored 12 and 10 points, respectively.

Ozarks will travel to Longview, Texas, to face LeTourneau University December 19.
