Abilene, Texas-The Lady Eagles had three players hit four three-pointers apiece, but it wouldn't be enough as all five Hardin-Simmons' starters scored in double figures and outrebounded Ozarks 44-26 in a 88-79 Lady Cowgirl victory Thursday.

Ozarks falls to 9-8 overall and 5-7 in the American Southwest Conference. Bryanna Moltz and Ashley Hipps carried Ozarks in the first half, scoring a combined 26 of its 39 points. Hipps drilled four three-pointers alone in the first half, while Moltz made six field goals. The Lady Eagles still trailed 46-39 at intermission as the Lady Cowgirls (8-8, 6-5 ASC) pulled down 21 rebounds.

Back-to-back three-pointers from Moltz and Jordana Andrews allowed Ozarks to pull within 60-56 in the second half. Just a minute later, Andrews would nail another shot from long-range to give the Lady Eagles a 61-60 advantage with 10:10 remaining. Ozarks stayed close until a four-minute scoring drought late in the game proved costly.

Moltz, Andrews and Hipps all hit four three-pointers. Moltz scored 23 points, while Hipps and Andrews had 18 each.

Ozarks will travel to Richardson, Texas, to face Texas-Dallas January 24.
