Lady Eagles Never Recover From Early Deficit; Suffer ASC Loss

Austin, Texas-The Lady Eagles scored just two points in the final 12 minutes of the first half and never recovered as Concordia University Texas took a 68-57 win in American Southwest Conference action Thursday night.

Ozarks (10-13, 6-12 ASC) trailed only 14-12 at the 12:11 mark of the first half, but then struggled to score and stay in the game. The Lady Eagles would hit 7-of-32 (21%) from the floor to fall behind 36-16 at intermission. While Ozarks outscored Concordia 41-32 in the second half, the Lady Eagles could never cut the deficit to single digits. The Tornadoes (8-13, 7-10 ASC) were able to maintain their lead in the second half behind a 22-of-28 (78%) effort from the free throw line. 
    
Bryanna Moltz posted a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds to lead Ozarks.

Ozarks will travel to Belton, Texas, to face Mary Hardin-Baylor February 14.
