Lady Eagles Eliminated From ASC Tournament

Tyler, Texas-The U of O women's basketball team finished its season after suffering a 113-53 loss against No. 11 Texas-Tyler in the first round of the American Southwest Conference Tournament Thursday night on the road.

Texas-Tyler (25-1) went on a 18-10 run over a five-minute span in the first half and then never really let Ozarks (11-15) back into the game. Texas-Tyler eventually pushed its lead to 50-20 with under five minutes to play in the first half. The Lady Patriots shot 56 percent from the field in the first half en route to holding a 57-20 intermission lead. 
    
Texas-Tyler held its sizable advantage throughout the second half as Ozarks made only eight field goals in the final twenty minutes of action. Ozarks hit 18-of-19 (94%) from the free throw line in the game, but the Patriots had a strong performance from long-range, hitting 19-of-37 (51%) for the game. Texas-Tyler also forced 24 turnovers and had six players in double figures.
    
Bryanna Moltz scored 20 points to lead Ozarks. She hit 3-of-6 from the three-point line. Tyler Adams added 10 points.
