Ozarks Women Move To 3-1 On The Season

Clarksville, Ark.-Ashley Hipps and Bryanna Moltz fueled the women's basketball team to a 88-75 non-conference win over Bacone College Tuesday night with 20 points each to push the Eagles to 3-1 on the season.

Ozarks (3-1) had three other players reach double figures in scoring, including Tyler Adams, who had 13 points and 11 rebounds. The Eagles dominated the boards, recording 49, while limiting Bacone to 26. Ozarks also shot well from the free throw line, hitting 22-of-26 (84%). Ozarks held a 22-18 first quarter lead behind seven points from Adams, and then went into halftime with a 39-30 advantage. Bacone (3-4) climbed back into the game, coming within 50-45 late in the third quarter, and hung around early in the fourth quarter. But Ozarks clung to its lead in the final quarter behind three three-pointers from Hipps.

Macie Kultgen had 13 points, and Anisha Johnson added 10 points for Ozarks.

Ozarks will host Texas-Dallas in its first conference game of the season December 5.
