Moltz Posts Double-Double To Pace Ozarks

Jackson, Miss.-Bryanna Moltz scored 20 points, grabbed 13 rebounds and blocked five shots to lead Ozarks to a 67-59 win over Belhaven University in conference play Saturday in Jackson, Mississippi.

Ozarks (8-8) trailed 34-31 at halftime, but outscored Belhaven (6-13) 15-9 in the third quarter to take control of the game. Ozarks ended the third with six straight points, including a pair of baskets by Moltz. In the fourth quarter, Ozarks led just 55-53 with three minutes remaining, but went on a 4-0 spurt and then made several free throws late to secure the game.  

The Eagles were impressive on the rebounding end, pulling down 60 boards. Ashley Hipps finished with 12 points and seven assists. Anisha Johnson scored 10 points and grabbed eight rebounds off the bench. Moltz went 8-of-19 from the floor.

Ozarks will face Texas-Dallas February 1 in Richardson, Texas.
