Women’s Basketball Team Ends Season With Loss

Longview, Texas-The women's basketball team ended the season with a 84-75 loss against LeTourneau University Saturday in league play.

LeTourneau (16-9, 11-4 ASC) jumped out to an early lead in the first quarter holding a 19-4 advantage with three minutes left. LeTourneau would lead 37-31 at the half. Ozarks (10-13, 3-12 ASC) battled back in the third quarter to trim the deficit to 55-51 with less than a minute to play. In the fourth quarter, Ozarks cut it to single digits on multiple occasions, but never took the lead.

Ashley Hipps would score 29 points in her final game in the program. She totaled 1,042 career points. Hipps finishes fourth all-time at Ozarks with 349 assists. Bryanna Moltz posted a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds.
