Women’s Basketball Team Nets Win

Clarksville, Ark.-Bryanna Moltz scored 21 points, grabbed 12 rebounds and blocked three shots to lead the University of the Ozarks women's basketball team past Arlington Baptist College 81-77 Thursday night.

Ozarks (1-1) held a 40-37 halftime lead and later used a pair of three-pointers from Hailey Ostrander to provide a boost of momentum in the fourth quarter. Ostrander started the fourth with a shot from long-range and then hit another two minutes later to extend the lead. Arlington Baptist (3-2) would trim the deficit to single digits in the fourth quarter, but Ozarks responded each time.

Ostrander drilled 4-of-9 from the three-point line and 7-of-10 from the free throw line to score 19 points in the game. Rose Robinson helped the cause by hitting 6-of-7 from the field to score 13 points. Moltz also dished out five assists.

The Eagles will host Bacone College November 18 at 6:30 p.m.
