Big Second and Fourth Quarter Secures Win For Eagles

Clarksville, Ark.-The women's basketball team started slow but had a big second quarter outscoring Centenary College 25-9 to cruise to a 77-57 win Thursday night.

Diamond Goodwyn and Bryanna Moltz posted double-doubles for the Eagles (5-3). Goodwyn scored 16 points and grabbed 15 rebounds, while Moltz had 17 points and 11 boards. Ozarks turned it up a notch in the second quarter hitting 10-of-14 (71%) from the field. Ozarks trailed 22-14 after the first quarter, but ended up leading 39-31 at halftime. After Centenary (2-4) had a strong third quarter, Ozarks again outscored the Ladies 22-7 in the final quarter to secure the win. Ozarks also dominated in the rebounding column, holding a 54-37 advantage.

Hailey Ostrander added 16 points.

Ozarks will travel to Texas Dallas for a conference game December 3 and then host Concordia University Texas December 5.
