Clarksville, Ark.-The UT-Tyler women's basketball team started the game on a 14-0 run and never looked back as it posted a 70-54 win over the University of the Ozarks Thursday in American Southwest Conference play.
The loss eliminated Ozarks (10-14, 5-10 ASC) from the playoffs. UT-Tyler improves to 19-5 overall and 11-4 in the ASC. Ozarks was led in scoring by Delanei Stephens, who had 10 points.
Senior Day will be held following Saturday's game.
Ozarks will host LeTourneau University in its final game of the season.
