THE BASICS
The Eagles controlled the game from the outset and never really allowed Rhodes back into the game in Saturday's 79-69 win. Ozarks had a balanced offensive attack with four starters in double figures in scoring. Two others came off the bench to score in double digits as well. Forwards Diamond Goodwyn and Cassie Emerson led the team with 15 points each. Ozarks hit 7-of-17 from the three-point line in the game and outrebounded Rhodes 40-34. Forward Destinee Manning had a monster game on the boards, grabbing 17. The Eagles led 41-26 at the half and maintained a double digit lead for part of the third quarter and most of the fourth quarter. In the third quarter, Rhodes did climb within five points.

Freshman Destinee Manning posted her second double-double in as many games, scoring 11 points and grabbing 17 rebounds.
Four starters reached double figures in scoring and two others recorded double digit points off the bench.
Freshman forward Cassie Emerson had 15 points off the bench.
