On a night where the Eagles were down two key players, East Texas Baptist University jumped out to a 10-2 lead with 7:19 left in the first quarter and never looked back. By halftime the visitors amassed a 45-26 lead. Despite Cassie Emerson pouring in 8 of her 13 points in the third frame, the ETBU Tigers still held a 63-41 edge. The Eagles battled hard in the fourth, but it was not quite enough, as they fell to the Tigers, 77-56.
