THE BASICS
UT-Tyler hit 12-of-19 (63%) from the field in the fourth quarter to overcome a second half deficit and finish with a 76-73 win over the Eagles Saturday. The Eagles went into halftime with a 31-31 score, but would build a 50-42 lead at the 4:08 mark in the third quarter on Kerigan Bradshaw's steal and layup. The Eagles held a 52-47 advantage heading into the final quarter, but the Patriots would chisel into the lead and eventually take a 65-64 advantage with five minutes left. Diamond Goodwyn made an inside shot to even the game 71-71 with 2:21 left. The Eagles would again cut it to two points with 27 seconds left, but couldn't get any closer.
