Clarksville, Ark.-University of the Ozarks sophomore guard Faith Curry was named the American Southwest Conference Women's Basketball East Division Player of the Week, it was announced by the conference office Tuesday.
     
Curry, from the Bahamas, gave the Eagles a lift off the bench with 21 points in 22 minutes in an 85-75 victory over Belhaven. The 5-foot-7 Curry was 14-of-16 from the line and collected eight rebounds to help the Eagles pick up its first conference win of the season.
