Bradshaw, McKinney Receive Conference Recognition

Kerigan Bradshaw and Kamryn McKinney received ASC honors.

Clarksville, Ark.-University of the Ozarks women's basketball players Kerigan Bradshaw and Kamryn McKinney received recognition from the American Southwest Conference, it was announced today.

Bradshaw, a junior guard from Harrison, was named to the ASC All-East Division Honorable Mention Team. McKinney, a senior guard from Sallisaw, received the ASC Sportsmanship Athlete of the Year.

In six games, Bradshaw averaged 15.5 points, 6.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game. She hit 21-of-25 (84%) from the free throw line and also made 30 percent of her three-point shots. She reached double figures in scoring in five of her six games. She scored a season-high 22 points against Mary Hardin-Baylor. She posted two double-doubles during the season, and against Louisiana College, she pulled down 14 defensive rebounds. Against Belhaven, she scored 13 points, grabbed ten rebounds and dished out eight assists. She received All-Conference honors last season. 

McKinney started in all 15 games and averaged 9.6 points. She poured in 19 points and hit four three-pointers against Howard Payne. Off the court, she serves as the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee President and has been a three-time member of the ASC All-Academic Team.
