Bradshaw, Ray Named ASC Scholar-Athletes

Kerigan Bradshaw and Alex Ray were named ASC Scholar-Athletes.

Clarksville, Ark.-Kerigan Bradshaw and Alex Ray were two of twenty-two graduating student-athletes from American Southwest Conference that were honored by the conference and their institutions as 2021-22 ASC Scholar-Athlete Medal of Honor recipients.
 
The ASC Scholar-Athlete Medal of Honor is presented to one male and one female member of the graduating class who has compiled the most outstanding record in academics, athletics and leadership over their collegiate career. The award is presented annually by the Faculty Athletics Representative at each conference member institution.
 
Bradshaw, a chemistry major from Harrison, Ark., was a four-year member of the basketball team. Bradshaw has been a member of the President's List, Dean's List and Academic All-Conference Team during her four years at Ozarks. On the court, she was named to the 2021-22 All-Conference Team. She will attend Pharmacy School at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. In her career, she has been Academic All-District, ASC Player of the Week and has been on the Academic All-Conference Team three times. She graduated Summa Cum Laude.

Ray, a business administration from Franklin, Tenn., played two seasons on the baseball team. Ray has been a member of the President's List, Dean's List and Academic All-Conference Team the past two seasons. He graduated Summa Cum Laude. An All-ASC Second Team selection and Third Team D3baseball.com All-Region pick, Ray led the team with a .390 average while driving in 33 runs. He is a two-time member of the Academic All-Conference Team.
 
Recipients of the 2021-22 ASC Scholar-Athlete Medal of Honor represent 13 different conference sports and include individuals who graduated with academic honors, hold admission to graduate-level programs, are members of academic honor societies and campus organizations; competed on national, conference or division title teams; earned Academic All-America, ASC All-Academic, Distinguished Scholar-Athlete and All-Conference honors; and who served as volunteers, tutors and mentors within the campus and the community.
