THE BASICS
Longview, Texas-LeTourneau University had a big fourth quarter to push past the Eagles 62-46 Thursday night in conference play. Leading 42-38, LeTourneau scored 20 fourth quarter points while holding the Eagles to eight. A McKenzie Greeson bucket at the 6:59 mark pulled the Eagles within 46-41. But LeTourneau then outscored the Eagles 16-5 in the remainder of the game. The Eagles had an off night shooting, hitting only 28 percent from the field and 55 percent from the free throw line. Makya Perryman led the Eagles with ten points.
