THE BASICS
Clarksville, Ark.-After a tight first half, the Eagles caught fire and scored 50 second half points to take a key 80-61 win over McMurry University Saturday. The Eagles and Warhawks were tied 30-30 at halftime, but the Eagles hit four three-pointers in the third quarter and then in the fourth quarter went 11-of-16 from the field, including making four more three-pointers. Amanda Turpin drilled three from long range in the third quarter and McKenzie Greeson made two of her own in the fourth quarter. Three straight three-pointers in the third quarter allowed the Eagles to take over the game and McMurry could never catch up. The Eagles continued to put up points in the fourth quarter and led 71-51 with 6:30 remaining in the game. The Eagles went 13-of-36 from the three-point line in the game. Turpin had a strong all-around game scoring 18 points, grabbing seven rebounds and dishing out seven assists. Turpin and Greeson finished with four three-pointers each.

TURNING POINT
The Eagles caught fire in the third and fourth quarter to outrun McMurry. The Eagles were specifically hot in the fourth quarter making 11-of-16 from the field.

Amanda Turpin had a strong all-around game scoring 18 points, grabbing seven rebounds and dishing out seven assists, all of which led the team.
