The men's wrestling team were runner-up at the SE Conference Championships.

ON THE MAT
The Eagles finished as the runner-up in the Southeast Conference Championships Saturday in Virginia. The Eagles have finished as runner-up in its last three appearances at the Conference Championships. The Eagles now turn their attention to the NCAA Division III post-season as they head to Iowa for the NCAA III Regionals February 25-26. Highlighting the championships were individual titles by Jacob Dado (141) and Ndayambaje John (165). Jake Dado won by tech fall over Colton White (Shenandoah University) (TF 20-5). He won by decision over Levi Englman (Ferrum) (Dec 5-1) and in the championship match won by decision over Brandon Woody (Averett University) (Dec 3-1). John won by fall over Gabriel Pittman (Huntingdon) (Fall 1:56). He won by decision over Anthony Taylor (Averett University) (Dec 11-5) and in the championship match won by decision over Alex Turley (Averett University) (Dec 6-3). Additionally, Nathan Rankin (125), Jaylen York (149) and Joaquin Bautista (157) finished as runner-up. Overall, the Eagles had nine place winners. Dado was named Southeast Conference Rookie of the Year.

Ndayambaje wrestled very well to get us our first individual conference championship. Jacob had a very impressive first year run in the tournament.
