Springfield, Illinois-Two University of the Ozarks wrestlers finished among the top six in their respective weight classes at the 2023 NCAA DIII Lower Midwest Regional Tournament in Springfield, Illinois. Regarded as the toughest NCAA III Men's Wrestling Region in the country, Jake Dado and Jaylen York placed fourth and sixth, respectively. As a team, the Eagles finished in 12th place out of 19 teams. Dado (141) narrowly missed out on advancing to the national tournament after losing his third place match by decision. Dado scored 13.5 points for the Eagles, while York earned 10.0 points. Three other Eagle wrestlers scored points at the tournament.
