Clarksville, Ark. -- Three members of the University of the Ozarks men's wrestling team made the 2022-23 College Sports Communicators (CSC) At-Large Academic All-District Team, it was announced Tuesday (May 23).
CSC, formerly known as CoSIDA, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the mat and in the classroom. Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot.
The honorees included Dax Gove, a junior English and environmental studies major from Draper, Utah; Zane Sims, a senior political science major from Bentonville, Ark.; and Johnathon Ward, a sophomore business administration and health science major from Tomball, Texas.
To be eligible for the CSC Academic All-America® program student-athletes must have a 3.50 cumulative grade point average, be a significant contributor to the team (having competed in at least 50 percent of the team's competitions), and be enrolled at the institution for at least 12 months.
