The Lady Eagles (2-5-1) dug themselves into a hole allowing the Lady Mustangs (4-3-0) to score in the 7th minute and then gave up goals within a one minute span near halftime. Despite its circumstances, Ozarks did mount a rally in the second half behind a strong offensive push. Eustacia Templeton buried a penalty kick in the 51st minute to ignite the rally. With momentum in its favor, Ozarks was on the attack from that point on. Brittanie Gragg nearly scored in the 69th minute, but her shot hit the crossbar and bounced out. Ozarks eventually made it 3-2 in the 88th minute when Hannah Carter sent a shot in the back of the net on a beautiful free kick from 25 yards out. From there, Ozarks was unable to register any more shot attempts.

Ozarks totaled 11 shots in the match, with both Carter and Frances Adams each recording three. Mary Eoff scooped up four saves.

Ozarks will travel to Marshall, Texas, to face Wiley College September 20.
