THE BASICS
The Eagles netted a goal in each half to take a big 2-0 conference win over East Texas Baptist University Thursday night. Ozarks did what it needed to do to start a two-match road trip, score when it had chances. Rebecca Peterson capitalized on an opportunity in the 20th minute to give the Eagles a 1-0 advantage. The Eagles didn't allow the Tigers to score the remainder of the half to keep the lead at 1-0. The Eagles produced another goal when Angelica Najera scored in the 77th minute. Kiara Henry posted the shutout in goal and had eight saves. It was the third shutout of the season for the Eagles.
