    Clarksville, Ark.-The University of the Ozarks Women's Soccer team will hold a virtual recruiting event for female high school soccer players in grades 9-12 on August 15 under the direction of Head Coach Natalie Dreyer. 
  • ASC Delays Fall 2020 Schedule and Championships to Spring 2021

    Richardson, Texas --- The American Southwest Conference Council of Presidents announced today (July 24) delaying conference-scheduled competition and championship events for fall championship sports with anticipation of resuming ASC competition and tournaments in spring 2021. The delay includes the fall sports of cross country, football, soccer and volleyball.

  • Texas Dallas Women Spoil Eagles Playoff Opportunity

    Clarksville, Ark.-Texas Dallas kept the Eagles off the scoreboard and spoiled their playoff chances with a 2-0 win on Senior Day. The Eagles finished tied for eighth place with East Texas Baptist and Concordia in the conference standings, but lost the tie-breaker to both teams. The Comets scored a goal in each half while keeping the Eagles offense in check. The Comets scored in the 14th minute and got an insurance goal in the 89th minute. The Eagles five seniors - Madison Chaney, Kiara Henry, Brittany Holt, Rebecca McCarron and Micaela Winters - were honored as part of Senior Day following the match.

    Clarksville, Ark.-University of the Ozarks senior goalkeeper Kiara Henry was named the American Southwest Conference Defensive Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday.
  • Breezie Davis Scores Memorable Game-WInner

    Clarksville, Ark.The Eagles won their second straight match behind a memorable goal from Breezie Davis 45 seconds into overtime. Davis was able to break free from the Belhaven defense and position herself 20 yards out in front of the goal and buried the game-winner. Belhaven owned a 6-1 shots advantage in both the first and second half, but it was Ozarks that had the biggest shot of the match. Playing in wet and rainy conditions, goalkeeper Kiara Henry fought off six shots on goal. With her first collegiate goal, Davis was swarmed on the field after netting the game-winner.
  • Women's Soccer Team Takes Care Of Business Against Louisiana College

    The Eagles took care of business in their match against Louisiana College scoring twice in the first half in a 2-0 American Southwest Conference win. Gisselle Estrada and Skylar Brown scored within a twenty-second span to give the Eagles a 2-0 advantage. From there, Kiara Henry and the defense kept the Wildcats off the board to post a shutout. The Eagles could have done more damage as Estrada and Brown were on the attack all afternoon. Estrada accounted for four shots and Brown had five. In all, the Eagles had 19 shots, with 11 of those on frame to keep the Wildcat goalkeeper busy. Henry had six saves. The win also avenges a tough double overtime loss to the Wildcats last season. 
  • Just Moments From Tie, ETBU Scores Game-Winner

    Clarksville, Ark.-East Texas Baptist University's Ashleigh Rondon scored with less than two minutes remaining in overtime to pull out a 1-0 win over the Eagles. A shot by Breezie Davis just 60 seconds earlier than Rea's could have ended it, but ETBU was able to keep it out of the net. The Eagles forced ETBU goalkeeper Maddie Rea to make nine saves in the match. Overall, the Eagles created 14 shots and six corner kicks.
  • Quick Back-To-Back Goals For LeTourneau Leads To Victory
    October 17, 2019
    Clarksville, Ark.-LeTourneau University found a way to build upon a 1-0 advantage by scoring two late goals in a 3-1 win over the Eagles Thursday. LeTourneau scored its first goal in the 20th minute to hold a 1-0 lead halftime. The YellowJackets then added two quick back-to-back goals late to secure the match. The YellowJackets scored in the 80th and 81st minute. Gisselle Estrada scored her eighth goal of the season.
  • McMurry Women's Soccer Team Hands Eagles 2-0 Loss
    October 12, 2019
    Abilene, Texas-McMurry University scored once in each half to take a 2-0 win over the Eagles Saturday in conference play. The War Hawks scored in the 9th minute, while finishing the first half with six corner kicks and seven shots. Holding the Eagles scoreless, McMurry added another goal in the 58th minute. McMurry totaled 20 shots in the match.
  • Hardin-Simmons Women Score Twice To Upend Eagles
    October 10, 2019
    Abilene, Texas-Hardin-Simmons scored twice in the first half to upend the Eagles 2-0 Thursday night in Abilene. Jessica Boldenow scored both goals for the Cowgirls, the first in the fourth minute, followed by another in the tenth minute. The Cowgirls accumulated 25 shots in the match.
  • Mary Hardin-Baylor Spoils Saturday Match With Overtime Goal
    October 05, 2019
    Clarksville, Ark.With only four minutes until reaching a tie, Mary Hardin-Baylor provided the game-winner to spoil the Eagles' home outing Saturday. The Crusaders out shot the Eagles 6-0 in overtime. Kiara Henry kept the Crusaders off the board behind 13 saves, but the visitors penetrated the Eagles' defense too much in overtime to allow a goal.

    Clarksville, Ark. – The University of the Ozarks women's soccer team has been honored with the prestigious Team Academic Award from the United Soccer Coaches (USC), it was announced by the organization.
  • Women's Soccer Team Unable To Extend Unbeaten Streak

    Concordia University Texas put an end to the Eagles seven-match unbeaten streak with a 2-0 win Thursday. The Tornados scored in the 16th minute and then in the 89th minute to secure the match. Concordia recorded 22 shots in total. The Eagles produced 11. Kiara Henry posted nine saves and faced 11 shots in the frame. The Eagles had four corner kicks and Rebecca Peterson created three shots.

    The Eagles moved their unbeaten streak to seven matches with a 1-0 road win over Howard Payne University in Texas. Gisselle Estrada scored the game-winning goal. The Eagles strong second half included nine shots. Kiara Henry recorded the shutout and had five saves. The Eagles totaled 14 shots in the match. 
  • Weather Delay Doesn't Slow Women's Soccer Team
    September 26, 2019
    Alpine, Texas-The Eagles conference opener was delayed Thursday due to weather issues, but it didn't stop the visitors from winning 3-2 Friday against Sul Ross State University in Alpine, Texas. The Eagles scored all three goals in the first half to secure the road win. The Eagles created scoring opportunities throughout the match, recording 15 shots on goal. The Eagles totaled 18 shots in 90 minutes. Madison Chaney quickly put the Eagles in front scoring in the first minute. After Sul Ross State tied the match, Gisselle Estrada connected on a penalty kick in the 24th minute. Makayla Davis later took a loose ball in the box in the 37th minute and buried it into the back of the net for a 3-1 lead. From there, Sul Ross scored late in the second half to make it 3-2.
  • Eagles Battle Hendrix To Another Overtime Tie
    September 22, 2019
    The Eagles recorded their second overtime tie of the season against Hendrix College Sunday with a 2-2 final. On September 4, the two teams finished with a score of 1-1. It was the Eagles third tie of the season. The Eagles attack resulted in seven first half shots on goal, with two of those shots finding the back of the net. Madison Chaney scored in the fifth minute on a pass from Gisselle Estrada. Chaney chipped it over the keeper's head to give the Eagles an early 1-0 advantage. Hendrix found the net in the 23rd minute, but the Eagles responded with a goal in the 29th minute to make it 2-1 at halftime. Skylar Brown chipped in another shot over the keeper's head on an assist from Jessica Alvarado. In the second half, Hendrix took 12 shots and connected on one in the 57th minute to even the score. Kiara Henry displayed her impressive athletic ability throughout the match. Henry had a diving save in the 52nd minute to stop a ball. In the second overtime, Henry stopped a ball from the dangerous Hagan Griffith to keep the match a tie. In the first half, Henry made a save and then crashed into the post. The Eagles totaled 15 shots.
  • Women's Soccer Team Moves Unbeaten Streak To Four Games

    The Eagles continue to put up impressive offensive numbers as they recorded 31 shots and scored five goals in a 5-0 win over Ecclesia Friday in Rogers. The win moves the Eagles unbeaten streak to four matches. It was also the Eagles second shutout of the season. The Eagles have scored 16 goals the past three matches. Jessica Alvarado, Gisselle Estrada and Skylar Brown all scored in the first half. Brown scored quickly in the second half to make it 4-0 and Camyren Antu scored the final goal in the 80th minute.
