Sydney Frazier Named ASC Defensive Player of the Week

Sydney Frazier was named ASC Defensive Player of the Week.

Clarksville, Ark.-University of the Ozarks freshman goalkeeper Sydney Frazier was named the American Southwest Conference Women's Soccer East Division Defensive Player of the Week, it was announced by the conference office Tuesday.
     
Frazier, a native of Lake Dallas, Texas, notched a shutout with one save in a playoff-clinching 1-0 win against LeTourneau. Fueled by Frazier's defensive play in the match, the Eagles qualified for the ASC Championship Tournament. Frazier has started in all seven matches and recorded 36 saves. 

Frazier prepped at Lake Dallas High School. 
     
The Eagles will travel to Abilene, Texas, to face Hardin-Simmons University in the quarterfinals of the ASC Championship Tournament.
