ASC Academic All-Conference Named 

105 University of the Ozarks student-athletes have been named to the 2020-21 Academic All-Conference Team by the American Southwest Conference, it was announced by the league office recently.

Clarksville, Ark.-105 University of the Ozarks student-athletes have been named to the 2020-21 Academic All-Conference Team by the American Southwest Conference, it was announced by the league office recently.
     
To be eligible for ASC Academic All-Conference honors, student-athletes must have been in attendance and completed at least one academic year (two consecutive semesters) at their institution. They must also have a 3.0 cumulative grade point average (GPA) after the spring semester.

The baseball team had 16 athletes on the team: Erick Aguirre, a senior health science/business administration major from Hot Springs, Ark.; David Beck, a senior physical education major from Conway, Ark.; Takoda Chaney, a junior business administration major from Rifle, Colo.; Ben Cross, a junior health science major from Sherman, Texas; Ethan Hambric, a freshman business administration major from Benton, Ark.; Daniel Hicks, a freshman psychology major from Oolagah, Okla.; Michel Rankin, a senior physical education major from Charleston, Ark.; Alexander Ray, a junior business administration major from Franklin, Tenn.; Easton Rose, a freshman health science major from Douglas, Ariz.; Connor Rowe, a sophomore health science major from Fort Worth, Texas; Sam Silvestri, a sophomore health science major from Southlake, Texas; Chase Smith, a freshman environmental studies major from Mansfield, Texas; Josh Stephens, a senior health science/business administration major from Springdale, Ark.; Chase Stephenson, a sophomore health science major from Mansfield, Texas; Rodny Valdes, a senior business administration major from Panama City, Panama; and Trey Vance, a sophomore physical education major from Fayetteville, Ark.

The men's basketball team had six athletes on the team: Seth Duke, a senior physical education major from Gravette, Ark.; Elvis Janga, a sophomore psychology major from the Netherlands; Thomas Myers, a sophomore health science/business administration major from Alabaster, Ala.; Darnel Renelique, a senior health science major from Katy, Texas; Jaxon Ryan, a freshman business administration major from Grapevine, Texas; and Tim Turpin, a senior business administration major from Cypress, Texas; 

The women's basketball team had 12 athletes: Kerigan Bradshaw, a junior chemistry major from Harrison, Ark.; Faith Curry, a sophomore health science major from the Bahamas; Kelsey Dixson, a senior environmental science major from Hector, Ark.; Morgan Douglas, a sophomore health science major from Clarksville, Ark.; Jenna Fortenberry, a freshman health science major from Sherman, Texas; Chanel Kattich, a sophomore psychology major from Cedarville, Ark.; Kamryn McKinney, a senior health science major from Sallisaw, Okla.; Stevie Perkins, a junior psychology major from Wellston, Okla.; Janna Rhinehart, a junior physical education major from Danville, Ark.; Brittney Sain, a senior health science major from Lake City, Ark.; Lakyn Sanders, a freshman physical education major from Lamar, Ark.; and Angela Wyatt, a junior psychology major from Coal Hill, Ark. 

The women's cross country team had one athlete on the team: Megan McNabb, a sophomore biology major from Bentonville, Ark.

The men's cross country team had three athletes on the team: Luis Garcia, a business administration major from Clarksville, Ark.; Jerico McClure, a freshman undeclared major from West Memphis, Ark.; and Edwin Rivera, a senior health science major from Springdale, Ark.

The men's soccer team placed 15 athletes on the team: Jean Claude Antoine, a sophomore business administration/health science major from Haiti; Kevin Avalos, a freshman undeclared major from Moore, Okla.; Brandon Batres, a senior psychology major from Forney, Texas; Sebastien Bathard, a sophomore business administration major from Haiti; Paul Bien-Aime, a senior business administration/mathematics major from Haiti; Colin Cosby, a freshman undeclared major from Broken Arrow, Okla.; Pedro Gallaga, senior political science major from Willis, Texas; Daniel Gomez, a junior mathematics major from Honduras; Truman Hensley, a junior health science/physical education major from Kansas City, Mo.; Daniel Lyon, a freshman undeclared major from Rockwall, Texas; Lorfils Milord, a junior business administration major from Haiti; Rigo Resendez, a junior health science major from Clarksville, Ark.; Charleus Emmanuel Ritch, a sophomore business administration major from Haiti; Jackson Rogers, a sophomore physical education/health science major from Paris, Texas; and Logan Valestin, a senior biology major from Bryant, Ark.

The softball team had 15 athletes on the team: Aryonnah Briggs, a freshman psychology major from Bryant, Ark.; Brittney Dean, a senior biology major from Rogers, Ark.; Blaise English, a freshman undeclared major from Clarksville, Ark.; Allyson Fultz, a freshman biology major from Rogers, Ark.; Riki Haase, a senior political science/philosophy major from Argyle, Texas; Sierra Jasna, a junior biology major from Sallisaw, Okla.; Sydney Key, a senior health science/psychology major from Lamar, Ark.; Britney Kirk, a sophomore mathematics major from Dardanelle, Ark.; Victoria Lopez, a freshman undeclared major from Comanche, Texas; Megan Madden, a senior accounting/business administration major from Flower Mound, Texas; Macy Pelts, a sophomore biology major from Knoxville, Ark.; Reese Ramirez, a freshman biology major from Cedar Park, Texas; Caley Robles, a sophomore health science major from Waxahachie, Texas; Rayli Ruby, a freshman biology major from Granbury, Texas; and Codi Shannon, a sophomore accounting/business administration major from Ozark, Ark.

The women's track team had two athletes on the team: Chloe Boyer, a freshman sociology major from Snellville, Ga. and Megan McNabb, a sophomore biology major from Bentonville, Ark. 

The men's tennis team had four athletes on the team: Dallas Elmore, a junior physical education major from Fort Worth, Texas; Nicolau Castells, a sophomore business administration major from Barcelona, Spain; Parker Morey, a junior political science major from Grand Rapids, Mich.; and Hikaru Yamaya, a freshman undeclared major from Osaka, Japan.

The women's tennis team had four athletes on the team: Skylar Frazier, a sophomore mathematics major from  Pocahontas, Ark.; Angelica Garcia, a senior sociology major from Amarillo, Texas; Anna Ryan, a sophomore business administration major from Woodville, Miss.; and Lea Terrell, a sophomore accounting major from Murfreesboro, Ark.

Student athletic trainers who made the team included Terri Brown, a senior health science major from Olive Branch, Miss. and Sydney Key, a senior health science/psychology major from Lamar, Ark.

Sports information student assistants included Jarret Bain, a senior psychology major from the Bahamas; Michel Brun, a senior communication studies major from Haiti; Kevin Nawa, a senior theater major from McKinney, Texas; Austin Neumeier, a junior physical education major from Bigelow, Ark.; and Sade Seymour, a junior communication studies major from the Bahamas.
