Conway, Ark.-The University of the Ozarks women's and men's swim teams competed in the Hendrix College Invitational Friday and Saturday.
The men's team finished sixth overall, while the women's team placed eighth.
In the men's 200-yard free relay, Michael Walkine, Jacob Toland, Dylan Gehrels and Kim Gyeongju placed ninth with a time of 1:36.96. Toland placed fourth in the 500-yard free relay with a time of 5:02.05. Walkine swam a 23.96 in the 50-yard free to place 21st. Toland, Walkine, Gyeongju and Gehrels placed sixth overall with a time of 1:45.67 in the 200-yard medley relay. Toland swam a 58.30 in the 100-yard backstroke to place seventh. Walkine swam a 1:06.14 in the 100-yard breastroke to place eighth. Gyeongju placed 13th in the 100-yard fly with a time of 58.47. Toland was fourth in the 200-yard free with a time of 1:53.80. Toland was 14th in the 100-yard free after swimming a 52.76.
In the 50-yard free, Kaitlyn Henrietta placed 17th with a time of 28.43. Henrietta swam a 1:02.14 in the 100-yard free to place 14th overall. Henrietta was seventh in the 200-yard fly with a time of 2:50.19.
