Women's Swim Team Competes In Invitational

The women's swim team competed in the Sam Freas Invitational.

Edmond, Okla.-The University of the Ozarks women's swim team competed in the Sam Freas Invitational in Edmond, Oklahoma Saturday.

No team scores were accumulated. In the 50 free, Catherine Wellborn placed 22nd swimming a 28:06. Shalley Coffin swam a 29.37 for 30th place. Skylar Epperson was 40th with a time of 43.56. In the 100 free, Rosie Wade placed 12th with a time of 58.95. Skylar Frazier was 23rd with a time of 1:06.42, Coffin was 24th with a time of 1:07.17 and Epperson was 31st with a time of 1:43.04. In the 200 free, Wade placed seventh with a time of 2:05.73. Coffin was 24th with a time of 2:21.53. In the 500 free, Wade swam a 5:35.65 for third place. Emily Spillers placed seventh with a time of. 5:55.65 and Coffin placed 12th with a time of 6:14.69. In the 100 back, Spillers finished 15th with a time of 1:11.45. Wellborn was 23rd with a time of 1:19.04. In the 100 breaststroke, Frazier was 16th with a time of 1:23.87. In the 100 butterfly, Wellborn was 17th with a time of 1:14.19. In the 200 IM, Spillers swam a 2:32.28 for tenth place. Frazier was 16th posting a 2:45.92.

In the 200 free relay, the Eagles (Frazier, Wade, Wellborn, Spillers) placed 13th swimming a 1:54.78. In the 200 medley relay, the team of Wade, Frazier, Spillers and Wellborn placed 13th with a time of 2:08.14.
