Women's Swim Breaks Two Records In Austin College Dual

The Eagles broke two school records in the Austin College Dual.

Clarksville, Ark. – The Eagles took a 122-64 loss against Austin College Saturday at the Clarksville Aquatics Center.

The Eagles set two program records during the meet and had three first place finishes. Rosie Wade set a new record in the 500 free with a time of 5:28.78. The 200 free relay team also set a new program record swimming a 1:49.73. The relay consisted of Catherine Wellborn, Skylar Frazier, Emily Spillers and Wade.

In the one-mile free, Wade placed second with a time of 19:14.53. In the 200 free, Spillers placed third with a time of 2:14.69. Shalley Coffin was fourth with a time of 2:18.77. Wellborn won the 50 free posting a time of 27.72. Jacqueline Gearhart was fifth swimming a 32.94 and Skylar Epperson was sixth with a time of 44.12. Frazier was third in the 200 IM swimming a 2:40.93. Spillers was third in the 100 fly with a time of 1:08.46. Wellborn won the 100 free posting a time of 1:00.02. Epperson was fifth with a time of 1:48.67. Coffin finished fourth in the 100 back with a time of 1:16.14. Coffin swam a 6:18.34 in the 500 free to place third. In the 100 breaststroke, Frazier was third with a time of 1:19.63 and Gearhart was fifth with a time of 1:31.07.
