Senior Day Special For Women's Swim And Dive Team

Dawn Hampton won the diving competition at Senior Day against Williams Baptist.

Clarksville, Ark.-The women's swim and dive team had an impressive showing at Senior Day against Williams Baptist University posting a 152-57 win.

Prior to the race senior Dawn Hampton, along with three other men's senior student-athletes, were honored for their dedication to the program. Hampton capped her special day by winning both diving competitions. Shalley Coffin and Skylar Frazier went one and two in the 1000 free. Coffin swam a 12:33.50. Frazier posted a time of 13:13.13. In the 200 free, the Eagles had the top three finishers – Rosie Wade (2:05.70), Natalie Naramore (2:18.82) and Paige Vire (2:26.70). Antalya Meals won the 50 free with a time of 27.40. Hampton paced the dive portion with a 136.35 in the one-meter event. Meals won the 100 free with a time of 1:01.01 and Catherine Wellborn placed second with a time of 1:03.45. In the 100 back, Wade placed first (1:05.25) and Naramore placed second (1:11.03). In the 500 free, Coffin placed first with a time of 6:09.47. Hampton also won the one-meter (6 dives) with a score of 169.10. In the 100 breaststroke, Vire placed first with a time of 1:16.21. Meals, Frazier, Wellborn and Wade won the 200 free relay with a time of 1:49.58.
