Athletes of the Month Announced

Faith Coffin and Keaton Little have been named the Athletes of the Month for October.


Clarksville, Ark.-University of the Ozarks student-athletes Faith Coffin and Keaton Little have been named the Athletes of the Month for October.

Coffin, a freshman swimmer from Waco, Texas, has had an outstanding start to her collegiate career. At the Hendrix College Classic, Coffin won the 200 free with a time of 2:05.69 and helped the team set a new program record in the 400 free relay with a time of 3:53.52. In that race, Coffin set the new school record in the 100 free with a time of 57.26.

Little, a senior clay target athlete from Leonard, Mich., helped the program to a team national championship in international skeet recently. Little was a key part of the Scholastic Clay Target Program Championship team in Ohio. He was also the team's top finisher at that competition placing 13th overall in the HOA standings. 

The athletic department will be announcing the monthly award throughout the academic year as voted upon by the athletic staff.
