Eagles Among Top-5 At SCAC Championships

Macy McPhillips set a new school record in the three-meter, 11 set dive.

Garland, Texas – Day three of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships is complete with the women's swim and dive team moving into a fifth-place tie with 204 points.

The Eagles are even with McMurry for fifth and trail Austin College (209) for fourth. A pair of program records were broke today. Macy McPhillips set a new record in the three-meter, 11 dive set with 346 points. The Eagles also broke the record in the 400 medley relay with a time of 4:22.81. In the 400 IM, Rosie Wade placed sixth with a time of 4:53.94. Riley Holcomb (5:22.39), Chloe Weathers (5:23.95) and Nataiie Naramore (5:40.34) finished 13th, 14th and 15th, respectively. In the 100 fly, Arianna Rosario swam a 1:07.60 and Ariana White swam a 1:12.97 in the prelims. Faith Coffin placed 12th in the 200 free with a time of 2:10.50. Haley Howard placed 13th with a time of 3:04.05. In the 100 breaststroke, Holcomb placed 14th with a time of 1:15.80. Skylar Frazier swam a 1:18.39 in the prelims. Kylee Booher swam a 1:33.77. Chloe Weathers placed 13th with a time of 1:04.43 in the 100 back and Jordyn-Joyce Ellington swam a 1:13.10. Jordan Perryman scored 268.30 in the three-meter dive.
