Women's Swim & Dive Team Has Program's Highest Finish

Garland, Texas –The women's swim and dive team posted its highest finish in program history at the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships by placing fourth overall.

The Eagles finished with 312 points. Southwestern University had 715 points and finished in third, while Colorado College had 752 points and Trinity University had 1077 points. On the final day, Rosie Wade placed eighth overall with a time of 19:06.64 in the 1650. Natalie Naramore placed 11th with a time of 21:02.93. Jordyn-Joyce Ellington placed 12th with a time of 22:26.75. In the 200 back, Arianna Rosario placed 16th with a time of 2:25.38. In the prelims, Chloe Weathers swam a 2:25.21, Naramore swam a 2:32.33 and Ellington swam a 2:41.36. In the 100 free, Faith Coffin placed 16th with a time of 59.15. In the prelims, Ariana White swam a 59.66. Haley Howard swam a 1:19.91 and Kelly Arango swam a 1:27.31. In the 200 breastroke, Riley Holcomb placed 12th with a time of 2:40.75. In the 200 breastroke prelims, Skylar Frazier swam a 2:51.16 and Kylee Booher swam a 3:27.84. In the 200 fly, Wade placed eighth with a time of 2:27.25. Arianna Rosario placed 14th with a time of 2:42.52. The Eagles placed seventh in the 400 free relay with a time of 3:56.73. In three-meter dive, Macy McPhillips scored 346.65 and Jordan Perryman scored 223.50. In the one-meter dive, McPhilips scored 330.30, Perryman scored 279.10 and Arango scored 212.05.
