McMurry Edges Eagles In Women's Swim & Dive

Clarksville, Ark. - The women's swim and dive team had several individual wins and diver Brianna Devlin smashed a pair of program records, but the Eagles still narrowly fell to McMurry University 166-160 in a dual over the weekend.

The Eagles finished second in the 400 medley relay with a time of 4:46.40. Natalie Naramore placed second in the 500 free with a time of 6:12.09. Isabel Shelton posted a time of 6:40.28 for fourth place. Jessie Wright won the 200 back posting a time of 2:20.86 and Chloe Weathers finished third with a time of 2:32.09. In the 200 breastroke, Riley Holcomb placed second with a time of 2:43.14. Kylee Booher was fifth with a time of 3:35.91. In the one-meter five dive set, Devlin won with a score of 172.20. Kelly Arango was second with a score of 94.65. Faith Coffin was second in the 100 free with a time of 58.05. Ariana White was fourth with a time of 1:02.51 and Naramore was sixth with a time of 1:06.07. In the 200 fly, Shelton was third with a time of 3:00.78. Wright won the 200 IM with a time of 2:25.04. Weathers finished second with a time of 2:31.89. The Eagles placed first (1:50.79) and third (2:16.17) in the 200 free.The Eagles placed second in the 200 medley relay (2:18.09). Weathers won the 400 IM with a time of 5:26.12. Wright placed second in the 200 free with a time of 2:05.84. Naramore was fifth with a time of 2:25.15 and Shelton was sixth with a time of 2:32.21. Coffin won the 50 free posting a time of 26.85. White swam a 29.76 for fourth place and Haley Howard swam a 34.21 for sixth place. Devlin won the one-meter 6 dive set with a school record score of 293.47. She finished the day with a school record 465.67 points in the 11 dive set. Coffin won the 100 fly with a time of 1:07.66. Shelton placed fifth with a time of 1:21.55. Weathers won the 100 back with a time of 1:07.14 while Wright finished second with a time of 1:07.44. Lydia Brown placed fifth with a time of 1:50.06. Holcomb placed third in the 100 breastroke with a time of 1:17.24. White was fifth with a time of 1:27.77 and Booher was sixth with a time of 1:39.77. In the 1650 free, Naramore finished second with a time of 21:12.23. The Eagles won the 400 free relay swimming a 4:02.51.  

The Eagles will head to Sherman, Texas for a dual against Austin College and St Thomas University November 11.
