Coffin, Devlin Receive Weekly SCAC Honors

Junior Faith Coffin was named SCAC Swimmer of the Week  and freshman Brianna Devlin was named the SCAC Women's Diver of the Week.

Clarksville, Ark. – University of the Ozarks swept the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) women's swim and dive awards this week, it was announced by the league office Tuesday, November 14. 

Junior Faith Coffin was named SCAC Swimmer of the Week  and freshman Brianna Devlin was named the SCAC Women's Diver of the Week.

Coffin, from Waco, Texas, won all three of her individual races in this weekend's dual against Austin College. She touched first in the 200 free (2:06.20), the 100 free (59.26) and the 100 fly (1:08.51). Behind Coffin's performances, the Eagles took a 150-107 win.
     
Devlin, from Topeka, Kansas, took first place in both diving events at this past weekend's home dual meet against Austin College. She set a personal best in the one-meter, five dive set with a score 173.40, and her second-best score in the six-dive set with a score of 273.40. It is the second consecutive week and third time this season she has received the award.

The Eagles will travel to Cleveland, Mississippi, for the Delta State Fall Invite November 17-19.
