Women's Swim And Dive Team Places Fifth At DSU Invite

The Eagles finished fifth at the Delta State Thanksgiving Invite.

Cleveland, Miss. - The women's swim and dive team finished fifth at the three-day Delta State University Thanksgiving Invite in Cleveland, Mississippi.

On Sunday, the morning session included the prelims while the evening session featured the finals. 

In the 200 back of the prelims, Jessie Wright placed seventh with a time of 2:18.79. Chloe Weathers finished tenth with a time of 2:28.46 and Isabel Shelton placed 14th with a time of 2:41.73. In the 100 free of the prelims, Faith Coffin placed 14th with a time of 1:00.03. Ariana White placed 16th with a time of 1:00.89, Haley Howard placed 25th with a time of 1:19.12 and Kelly Arango placed 26th with a time of 1:23.58. In the 200 breaststroke of the prelims, Riley Holcomb placed 14th with a time of 2:45.67. Kylee Booher placed 18th with a time of 3:36.27. In the 1650 free of the prelims, Natalie Naramore placed 13th with a time of 21:12.87. Shelton placed 14th with a time of 21:52.61. In the finals of the 200 back, Wright placed seventh with a time of 2:21.19, Weathers placed tenth with a time of 2:26.52 and Shelton was 13th with a time of 2:42.30. In the finals of the 100 free, Coffin was 14th with a time of 59.25, White was 16th with a time of 1:01.39, Howard was 25th with a time of 1:19.13 and Arango was 26th with a time of 1:24.48. In the finals of the 200 breaststroke, Holcomb was 14th with a time of 2:42.57 and Booher was 18th with a time of 3:36.14. In the finals of the 400 free relay, the Eagles placed fifth (3:58.41) and 13th (4:34.57). In the diving competition, Brianna Devlin scored a 423.85.  

The Eagles will travel to Conway for the Hendrix College Sprints November 30.
